I swapped my entire convertible top assembly with a salvage find. The left alignment pin disengages very harshly. Engagement is smooth when closing. I couldn't locate any adjustments for that condition in my service manual. I feel it needs to come forward a bit on the left.
Are there any adjustments in the mechanism that could correct the issue? Any other thoughts?
