There are no more than 2 or 3 chips, I think a previous owner on here had it done. I'm getting a smart quote, just waiting now.Zedebee said:Get a SMART repairer to look at it, not a bodyshop. It’ll be much cheaper and a good smart repair is much better that a crap bodyshop job.
Alternatively, if you have typical Z4 stone chips all over your bumper, you may be better off getting a proper repair and full respray done on it.
It's Sterling Grey, on a 19 year old car is it really worth the expense?Mike6 said:Take the hit and get it done properly. That colour looks difficult.
Yes I keep looking at it and thinking, 'I used to do these things myself years ago' I agree that yes give it a go and if crap get it done properly but is it going to notice down there anyway.Chris_D said:def DIY it first. fill, flat, spray, flat, spray, laquer. if ur not happy with it just get more quotes
A couple of hours of your own time to remove and strip it then refit afterwards should bring that price down a bit. It’s not a difficult jobMikeyH said:The £400.00 plus vat was a full removal and respraypvr said:I paid £300 for a full bumper respray to put it in perspective. No damage though, just stone chips.
