Good afternoon,

I have had a few E85 but think I might have a crack at an E89.

This looks lovely (based on photos not history etc) and I am sure the slightly dirty leather can be spruced up.

Seeing if anybody knows the car?

iDrive (check to see if it's got bluetooth), PDC, heated seats, wind deflector but doesn't look to have cruise. See if someone local can do the bolsters professionally

if you can get the VIN number from the seller, do a vin check on an online decoder it will tell you every extra the car had when it left the factory, mine had iDrive but no bluetooth or cruise. Bluetooth was standard on later cars (and then you need to check if its bluetooth with audio streaming) BMW charge for everything

Cruise was part of a 'pack' (comfort, or driver assistance, can't remember) but i-Drive was a stand-alone option, same as heated seats were never part of a 'pack'.
All clever marketing by 'zee Germans' to make sure your expensive new BMW was much more expensive. Our first E89 was a lowly 18i, but it had so many factory options, it was more expensive new than a basic 35iS.

Very inexpensive in UK... likely because of the steering wheel being on the wrong side....
As always.. get a service history. and check the inside of those 296 wheels for fractures - easy to miss (from my direct experience.)

Think those are 293s not 296s, still need checked though
