Does anybody know how to remove the coupe parcel shelf?

I've just bought a black one to replace the horrible beige one. Anybody had theirs out before? Just wondering whether it's easy or a seats/centre console etc out job.

I think your get away with just removing the top piece of trim which covers the top of the rear storage, then the long piece of trim in the boot... I think that reveals the parcel shelf.

I can't remember exactly though so don't take my word for it, someone will be able to tell you though i'm sure

Edit; after looking at a photo I have of the boot, it looks like alot more then just un-clipping some trim.
have fun!

Thanks Mike, will take a look later. I remember that the top trim pieces just pull off, but can't remember whether that gives access to the screws.

Thankfully it is just the 3 top trim parts that need removing, plus the window ones need loosening too. Took about 30 minutes all in to swap it over. As usual BMW excel at making even the simplest jobs a complete pain in the arse, why the trim pieces are always such an arse to re-assemble I don't know!

Hello mate I got this grand job to do on the weekend. So the big black panel that goes round the rear fire wall needs to come up? As well as the two bits of trim buy the windows?
Also is it just a couple of bolts that hold that trim down as I see some behind the chairs? If you can give me some tips that be great thanks.
