-than the rest of the car?-Hi all,as above really, what with the side windows dropping every time the roof does,im trying to prevent dirt/grit scratching the windows

My side windows get a lot of dirty water when using the screenwash so I tend to clean them more regularly than I would like.

Yup, i carry a bottle of glass cleaner and cloth in the boot as I'm a bit fussy about having clean windows and mirrors :)

Personally no if i QD the windows say mid week to remove some dust i normally do the whole car did you do this with your last car or just the Z ?

I try and keep mine clean too foir the same reason, but you know what I cleaned last week and was gobsmacked at?...the windbreaker....looked like it had a couple of dead flies on it so I took it indoors and rinsed it under the tap with a bit of warm soapy water...I've never seen such a load of dirt and shite come out of anything in my life.....mind you I haven't touched it in three years.....but it sure must stop some crap getting into the cockpit. :o

Nope, I clean them all when they are dirty

I put my rear wind block in the shower , it's a habit I got with e46 wind breakers. Works great.

I'm fussy about windows and mirros in general. You can never have too much visibility. One of my many many driving pet hates is people who don't demist their windows before they drive away, or in snow & ice don't clear all the side windows. You'll usually see them at a junction, pulling out in front of traffic they're blissfully unaware of being there.

Tend to drive with my drivers window wide open all the time unless its pissing down prob why i do not clean as much as you i even have the window open when cold drove back from Silverstone last Sat evening window open all the way

what's funny? That I clean them or that I put them in the shower ...?????

The shower has a long hose and a detachable head so it's super easy to spray them...And the E46 wind screens are quite large...didnt fit in the sink. I washed the z3 screen in the kitchen sink today....just to please you :poke: :poke:
