Do I change my car?

Having had both, and I know this might not be popular here, the 997 TT is a whole lot better, but it should be given the cost and the running costs. I loved mine and only sold it (to move into a Z4) to fund a new house deposit.
You might be slightly disappointed that the interior is not that modern, as Porsche always seem to be a little behind the curve, but the drive is fantastic.
I'd see what you think of the Turbo, then as said above, sell yours privately and pay the remainder. Not sure Turbo prices will drop significantly in the near future.

Indeed kudos comes at a hefty price both on spares & labour rates
I had a dabble with 911s for a short while
local Porsche indy was at £88hr (+Vat) 4yrs ago I'm still smarting from a £140 bill to replace a gearbox switch that worked the reverse lights , part was under £30 & min charge rate was 1 hour to do a 15min job

An update on the car....
So I went for a blast on the bypass then onto the country roads and though a village, then back to the showroom......
The car is great for plodding around town and looking out of it.
When you get onto the open road oh my god it goes, it made me smile....
But my concerns are about it being automatic
The steering wheel feels small its like the z3m
And it's not like the m where you're sat in the car snug , it's abit open
And the garage only offered me £16000 for my car.. :x
So should I stay with my car. I've had everything done now inspection 2 new brake, discs, pads, alloys refurb, MOT and polished and a new cover. etc etc...

The S54 Z3Ms are the real ones to have but even your standard Z3Ms with a low mileage have shot up in value over the past 3 years, don't see why in another 5 years or so good low mileage Z4Ms commanding a similar increase in value.

I hope so Tim and I hope to be an owner when they do. I read somewhere nearly 1000 Z4MR's hit our shores so numbers will need to dwindle a lot for a decent price hike

Still a pretty rare car on our roads, I can't remember the last time I saw a Z4MR or C on the road, must be years.
