Do any zeds have torch in glovebox?

No, not available. All my other BMWs have had one, but not the Z.

But I always carry a Mini Maglite LED torch in my laptop case.

My 2004 Z4 had one, but I think BMW stopped providing one across all models a year or so later. I also keep a Maglite in the glovebox.

As per a previous post I made...

I put one of these in mine - it simply slots into the cigar lighter socket - although it does stick up slightly which means you can't close the ashtray cover.

I have never seen in any Z4. My 2004 did not have it either. Could not see it on realoem either?

My 2004 Zed had one when it was delivered. Stored in the centre console and secured by a small velcro strap.

ah yes - but I am talking about the "real" one, i.e. the one that plugs into a socket and recharges in the glove box. All my BMWs have had those, except for the Z.

Yes, mines a BMW reachargeable one which you just put it in the cigarette lighter to charge. Nothing in the glovebox.

I retrofitted one with the original charger, was only a tenner for the parts. Never used it though so my M does not have it now.
