Do 4x 19 inch alloys fit in a coupe?

May be picking up a set of 19s (no tyres fitted) on Friday, question is will 4 fit in my coupe? Anyone pulled this off before? I've only fitted 4 18s before, 3 upright sideways in boot and one in passenger seat.

Doubt it! But if you do go for it post pics please 19s with tyres I assume? With correct size rubber too ? If so overall size will be the same as 18?

No tyres Buckz, definitely wouldn't fit with tyres! Can only get 2 rear tyres for my 18s in my car at once. Would be fitting 35 and 30 profile tyres front and rear respectively, so would only be marginally larger overall size than 18s with 40 and 35 profile as I have fitted currently on my 108s

Looks like D4dawg's van may be needed, unless anyone's fitted a set of 19s sans tyres in a coupe??? Help!

As Buckz said, if the tyres are the right size it should work as well as the 18s did!

Forgot to say they would definitely fit in my E46 Compact and as you aren't too far away from me, if you are stuck PM me and I'm sure we could sort something - but don't bother if they aren't in England! :lol:

Ah, no tyres makes quite a difference! I bought a set of winter tyres on rims for my E46 and was amazed how much space they took up!

Anyway the offer in my edit still stands if it will solve a problem for you.

Thank you kindly good sir! I have a mate at work with a 3 series and Marc aka D4dawg on here with his work van who's offered to take me but nice to have a back up! Wheels are indeed in the country! Northampton. I'm near Tring HP23

I also did 4 x 18 in mine a few weeks ago, just as you describe. The ones in the boot were rolling backwards and forwards the whole time driving me nuts so I reckon there is space for another inch. The one in the passenger seat will be one inch bigger and you will just have to squish over a bit.
Remember some big bin bags to put them in to protect your interior.

Cheers Nick, these are 19x9 so will take up much more space than the 4 18s I transported which were 18x8 and 18x8.5 but I'm going to give it a go if nobody's around to help although Mr Tidy has kindly offered his services. About protecting the interior, you're quite right, thanks for the reminder. Bubble wrap at the ready!

If you've had 3 x 18" in the back standing side by side, I'd say 19's will easily fit, after all an inch is sod all (ask my wife) likewise for the one on the seat.
