I could use some help with my VO as I try to code the DME from Automatic to manual after my transmission swap
I seemingly cleared all adaptations with INPA (unsure if this is related)
then I made a mistake clicking around too much in ncsexpert before I fully understood what I was doing
I believe I wrote empty/blank FSW_PSW.TRC and FSW_PSW.MAN files to the car.....
I watched this video

my process included:
first on NCSexpert I was able to delete module $205 as the guy in the video above did.
I was then able to seemingly write the new VO and adaptations after deleting this module, however the gear icon on my dash cluster was still present, just like the issue this guy has around the 18.20 minute mark
I then (stupidly) strayed away from the video and start clicking around trying to write my new files to the car.
then I followed the steps below
1. Open INPA and confirm connectivity
2. Create empty FSW_PSW.TRC files within my WORK folder
3. Open NCSDummy, select chasis e85
4. select Module as EWS.C81 (I think this is the transmission control module)
5. Load the FSW_PSW.TRC file

6. Select "Nicht_Aktiv" for the 'Park/Neutral_Eingang'
7. Export FSW/PSW to new .trc file
8. Open NCSexpert, select chasis
9. Select ECU
10. Select ALZS / AKMB
now INPA recognizes ignition on and battery on, however I have no lights on my dash. only some accessories function such as passenger power seat, but NOT driver power seat. I was the unlock button on the key fob itself is still functional, trunk button functional, but no horn, dash lights, etc.
I have tried letting the battery sit unplugged, to no avail
I have purchased and downloaded the e85 daten files from NCS Expert
I copied the PFL files to the proper PFL folder that I found on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RdQaNOmH3I&t=1485s
Now I'm having issues getting my DME to talk to NCSexpert- I receive errors when trying to connect to the AKMB AND THE AKLZ
any help or direction is appreciated
