DIY xenon lights

I want to upgrade my lights to xenon. Is anywhere any DIy to help me?

I did read a thread for this either in Z4um or Zroadster net, I do remember that the guy did manage to complete it but it was a lot harder and more expensive that he thought it would be.

I retrofitted OEM xenon's on my '04 3.0 and it was not worth the effort and money. If I were to do it again I would've Just gotten some xenon-looking bulbs and call it a day.

These are the parts you will need if you still want to retrofit OEM xenon's:

- headlights
- wirings
- levelling sensors
- new headlight module
- dealer programming

Yes I have successfully changed from yellow to 4300k hid on my z4.

My lights would flicker from the low beam power source so i had to use the fog light power to power the ballast properly and it worked great. Also when my lights are on my foglights go on with the parking lights very very cool look as no other z4 is wired that way, if i want my zenon low beam to go on i simply press the fog light button and voila.
