N NeilP Veteran North West London Jun 19, 2013 #4 It shouldn't do provided the tyres meet legal requirements. I remember reading somewhere that insurance companies would jack up premiums for owners that fitted winter tyres, but it seems recently, they've also relaxed to those charges.
