Discs, drilled or grooved?

Hi geezah, I have brembo drilled and grooved front and back, no noise issues. I use red stuff pads. If you do your research that have no noticeable effect on braking, they are really only for looks. ( formula 1 and airplanes use solid discs :o . So it is down to what you prefer visually. I hope this helps.

I had dimpled grooved discs on an Audi s4 , there was a noticeable increase in noise but no increase in braking retardation . There may be a slight benefit on a racing car during a long race but on a quick trip to work , normal discs all day long .

I have drilled and grooved discs on mine, along with textar e-pads. Huge improvement over the old oem discs and pagid pads.

As for noise, at first there was a low hum on braking. This seems to have either gone away or I've got used to it. Either way, it was a pretty cool sound to hear, so never bothered me.

same here, i've dimpled and grooved and similar noise to hear and it's not annoying to me
