Discontinued passenger airbag shut off kit- Can I D.I.Y ?

Advice please...
I have found a car breaker who says I'm welcome to come and take what I need from the car that he has ( E85 2.0 se with shut off fitted ) but that he wouldn't know what I need to remove to use in my car.

I have worked out that I need..

1. Airbag key - I presume I would have to get a new barrel to match my key.
2. airbag off indicator light and the centre console cover trim that it fits into
3. Wiring harness or cable

This is as far as I've got apart from the parts link below which shows part no 8 (lock with key code)
That's got me wondering so I need constructive advice from the wise.

Sorry I also need any diagram of where the cable / wiring runs so I can have a better chance of removing it.. thank you
 
You may just need the light and the switch, the wiring may be in place. I know some people have observed unconnected wires for the switch behind their heater vent. May not be universal though. I don't think any diagram exists for cable runs, only the device locations. The central module is behind the handbrake. Wires run from there to the devices.

I've not seen this lock barrel out of the lock, but many of these can be re-keyed by inserting your new key and filing down any wafers that protrude. Or remove them so any key shaped object can be used to operate the switch.
 
I would look on realoem.com for the retrofit kit, that should have all the part numbers listed so you can then source what you need.

I am also sure there was a thread on this site below showing how to fit

UPDATE :

The kit is discontinued as stated but I had a thought this morning and rang my local dealer parts dept and asked for the parts seperately by individual part no.s..... Hey presto they are available apart from the instructions.

Ive ordered the shut off key, cable and airbag off indicator light
It will be 7 to 10 days as the parts are coming from Germany ( back order )
