Disaterous Day at the The Beach

This weekend our local beach at Brean in Somerset claimed another doofus who ignored the "don't drive past this point" sign, this beach claims about one a month so beware if you are looking for some moody photo's (it's used a lot for auto magazine shoots). No smirking please,

and 4WD isn't all it's cracked up to be, a previous effort http://youtu.be/-IYS2yxksxY

Why do people think they can beat nature. My uncle did this on Southport beach many years ago in a Reliant Scimitar with spectacular consequences. :(

Plonkers

Call me mad, but if that was my 4x4 I might have been tempted to wait until the tide gave it a few good jolts and tried to drive it out. Probably a similar result, plus a possibility of drowning. But you've gottta try these things. :D

Not sure if they would have some small print that says "If you are stupid enough to take your car on a beach then please don't bother claiming".

Anyone recommend a good detailer?

I love the way they go deeper to recover the front spoiler afterwards

Imagine the call to your insurance company

Not sure it would be covered as it's not on a road

I'm not sure i would even bother ringing them.

"So mr plonker, you figured it a good idea to drive your car onto a beech, ignoring the signs not to, and now want to claim because its been taken to the davey jones locker"
