Did anyone have Perma Plate applied when they purchased Z4?

I was just wondering if anyone had the Perma Plate package applied when they bought their Z4? I had it done and it seemed to make the car shinier, if there is such a word. Also, on the perma plate website (http://www.permaplate.com I think), it says that no waxing is ever needed. Instead, it says that Perma Plate products should be applied every so often. I wonder if this is just a way for them to get me to continue buying their products?

I have it on both my cars and like it. However, it hardens the paint and makes it more brittle and may be easier to chip. Needs to be reapplied every 5 years.... Some last 10 years.

Perma plate is a type of sealant...
Similar to (but not the same as) Zaino & FMJ
JMO but Zaino & FMJ are much superior optically & still last 6 months.
