Diagnosing roof problem with bimmerlink

Hi all,

My e89 roof doesn't go down anymore (just get a red light when i push the button). I bought and OBD reader and bimmerlink to try and diagnose the problem, but don't really know how to check the switches or where the fault may lie in the app

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to use the app? When i do an error scan, there isn't anything coming up on the roof areas.
