God bless her for caring and I've told her umpteen times not to bother, but my mum's just sent me yet another box full of sugary 'goodies'.

If anyone wants them PM me. collection from Vleuten in Holland or via post anywhere in Europe for €10. Dunno how much stuff like this cost's to buy but if there's no takers I'll be giving them away to my elderly neighbours.....
I'll be keepin the Panko breadcrumbs however, cos they're top

My family would do this occasionally when I was serving overseas. Made me Mr. Popular for a short time - at least until they ran out  . It's a lovely gesture by your mum

It is a really lovely gesture, dont get me wrong but she knows very well that i dont buy that sort of sugary sh!te after putting effort in and dropping 20kg over the last year!
Told her off at Christmas for having a kitchen rammed full of stuff they could really do without and also gently advised that i'd prefer to receive 'healthy' stuff if given the choice.
Sayin that, I've just scoffed a mr kipling exceedingly sweet almond slice with a nice cup of rosy. It was flippin delish! Hahha
Gotta get rid soon.....
