Been working my @ss off since Sunday morning helping GA area residents pick up the pieces after the storm. I haven't used a saw that much in a long time. I can barely move I'm so sore, and I haven't even felled the first tree for my own wood for next season :sos: . I hope anyone here from GA faired better then the people I helped, keep them in your prayers y'all.
Thank you Flyboy for calling me, I was of course working but I appreciate the thoughts. I think I'll buy stock in Ibuprofen

On a better note, mom and dad bought me a new toy I'll post in another thread, and on a not-so-better note, someone banged up my Z and it's stripped and out of service right now, which I'll put in yet another thread. Never a dull moment in my life  , really looking forward to relaxing at HC.

I saw a report this morning concerning the devastation in Ga from the storms... :(
I am sure I don't need to tell you to be very careful cutting appart fallen tree as they can get you but I will tell you anyway...
Sorry to hear about your Zed...

Yeah, I was worried about you guys down there. Woodstock didn't get much of anything. It just rained and was pretty windy all night.

How many lives did the GA storms take? Last I saw it was 22 in the three states affected by the twisters. That is nuts in this day and age!

FNI, so glad to hear that you are alright! And even better, you are well enough to help those around you in need. I feel like saying "Praise the Lord" :yeah: like one of those charismatic preachers would :P .

Keep taking those Advil, as I own stock... and don't forget to buy it with your VISA as I just purchased a shitload of stock in it... 8)

I think it was atleast two. I know one lady died in Decatur from a tree falling on her in an apartment complex parking lot.

fire-n-ice, sorry for all your troubles, But please please stay where you are. Keep the black cloud away from me. :poke:

I have been on storm breaks before myself. Not a pretty site of what Mother Nature can do. Sorry to hear about your car. There is really some inconsiderate people out there.

Thanks for all the kind words and sarcasm, I can always count on y'all to make me smile :) . z4dsun, around 2 last I heard. I know it sounds not right for so many people in this day and age to die from storm related catastrophes, but many of these people live in mobile homes which are hardly a challenge for severe weather, and some die from trees falling on them in their homes. Believe it or not, lots of people die in their CARS during a tornado, being in a vehicle is the worst place someone can be but for some reason, people feel very safe in them and won't bail out to find a lower area or ditch to hunker down in, or either they foolishly try to outrun it.

Sorry Flyboy, I only use credit cards for emergencies or if I plan on paying a small purchase off before 30 days - and remember I'm a medic, I don't buy my ibuprofen 8)

Catastrophies are inevitable. I had a friend that wouldn't fly in an airplane to go anywhere. So when he got married they drove to Miami to get on a ship to take a Caribbean cruise. The boat sank because a plane crashed into it.

C'est la vie.

...if y'all are going to hi-jack my thread, please, make it better then
