I didn't realise how good Carbon Black looked in bright sunlight until I parked next to an E86 that colour at Beaulieu when we had a meet there in 2018 - it looks stunning.

My Ruby Black coupe did too, but it wasn't always clean enough on the few bright sunny days we get here and then it just looked black!

Awesome video buddy! Top work as always!

My first BMW was a 320SI a WTCC homologation car in carbon black and loved the colour. Hard to keep nice tho as a lot of these dark colours are. Had a rather nice carbon fibre rocker cover.

Unfortunately with 170hp it didn't have much go but revved higher so about 4000 at 70. Cost as much to run as an S54 with half the performance  so sold it and bought the Z4M.

Interesting they are correcting with a rotary and finishing with a DA and a small pad…

Finish is stunning and the interior perfect

no rotary was used  two 15mm throw DA's , 3 inch for the more intricate areas , and two nano machines for the even more intricate areas. its important to use the right tools for the job.

Carbon Black is one of the best colours that BMW M has ever produced.

that engine cover .... woooooooowwwww

agreed carbon black something ELSE. i had no idea at all this had some much colour locked in, if the z4 ruby black ( i think its called ) looks anything like this, that would likely be my favourite Z4 colour.

At last years NEC classic car show there was an M3 e46 in carbon black on the Meguiars concourse display and same again, the colour looked amazing

agreed! sadly i just massively overlooked this colour for many may years! total banger, in certain lights it had a almost midnight purple type vibe.
