DeSorn'd early

Took the zed off SORN early - was intending to wait to April but couldn't wait - taxed it online - such a simple process now :)

Had a run out listening to that big 6 engine :D - can't really give it some welly down here on our Island roads but just driving it is enough - for an 11 year old car still looks modern and draws looks - been asked several times if it's new ( admittedly by non petrolheads but still makes me feel good )

will make an effort to take it out more and stop being obsessive about the mileage - in a few hundred miles it will hit 30k

I decided not to SORN Mine this year (first time in 3 years) as now paying monthly for tax, but not got out much either.... my 3.0i (54) just hit 26666 miles

To take your car off the road and not be aloud to drive it must be sooooo hard. Especially if you have to look at it on the drive or in the garage. You made the right choice

That is what - 10 times around the island? :D

Is the whole island 40 mph by the way?

Made the right choice. It's just nice to have the option to take the car out,on those rare crisp perfect winter days and nights. :driving:

+1 - it's why I don't bother to SORN mine, the odd days I can use it during the winter are worth a lot more than the £20/month I'd save

You had to rub that £20 bit in for the M owners, didn't you

Cheeky git  I'll have you know we have one dual carriageway albeit for about 100 yards where you can legally do 70 mph - mind you most roads seem to be 40 mph or even 20 mph through village centres
