I have a question however!

I do not believe it has the wind deflector... Can this be retrofitted and if so what is the cost and are the ebenefits worth it!?

I look forward to meeting you guys!

Looks awesome - one of the nicest roadsters ive seen to be honest.

Be careful about that strut brace - you'll need to inform your insurers - mine wouldnt cover it so i had to take it off.

:x

looks nice - congrats :D

the clips for a wind deflector are there looking at those photos... could be wrong though :?

Very nice

Looks like you already have the channels fitted between the roll hoops, so if the deflector is missing it's just a case of getting a new one from BMW or Ebay and clipping it in. When you open the bot you shoudl see storage rails for it on the underside of the lid. Check the boot first before buying

Very nice I remember seeing it on the bay.

Dont like the CSL's though I think you should swap them for someones standard wheels ;)

And don't forget to tell them you've got CSL wheels too - it may not affect the premium, but they won't pay out extra in the event of a claim.

And stay well clear of potholes, kerbs, speed bumps, paper, etc. with those wheels as they scratch as easy as a naked chap in a cactus field :headbang: and if you ever get fed up with the bumpy ride from the CSLs, I'm sure there's plenty of people willing to take them off your hands :P

I still love the look of the 19" CSLs though and would get another set in a minute if I could get the look without the (to me) adverse affect on ride - although they'd probably be brilliant on a track, just not on the bumpy B roads I like driving on!

Coming from 3 piece wheels with 3" aluminium dishes I don't think these will be a problem ;)

And also the ride feels no different to the 18's really in my eyes.

I am on the lookout for some 19" track wheels though. Maybe some BBS RS GT's or some OZ's.

Something very light though.

How do the standard brakes fare? I know a lot of CSL owners go for the Stoptechs or the AP racing 6 pot from 4 pot rear conversion.

Have only seen CSL's on one other roadster - and have to say they look fantastic alongside that colour.

Lovely

Looking at their professions and where they live I don't believe them to be the same person... Although you have me worried there is something bad hiding within now!

The first roadster ive seen with CSL wheels, looks great! Can see why BMW Mag were keen on it, will buy a copy when its out
