Dent - Oh No!

Hi all,

I have just find a dent on my passenger side rear wing - I am completely devestated!!

It was serviced on Friday and i'm virtuallt certain it was done while at the dealers - It definitely wasn't there when I dropped it off and all I have done with it all weekend is park it in the drive!

How do i go about handling this with the dealer? Any advice welcome.......
 
Has it broken the paint? If not the dentmaster type companies can work wonders, i've watched our local guy in action and he does fantastic work, he's based in Warwick if that's any help.

Hi Chap,

Firstly As asked before has it marked the paint? If not Theres a good chance a dent company can sort it. I know a really really great company in Leicester that come to your house.

Secondly Are you based in Leicester? Im a Leicester Lad and it would be nice to know theres someone else from round here too.

Oh and finally, what did you have done and how much did it cost? No service due for a bit but its good to know.

The paint is not broken but it has scratched it a bit - i'm not too worried about that but just want the dent out!

What company is it?

I am from Market Harborough - about 20mins south of Leicester.

I had an inspection I with a brake fluid change and cost £300!

More bad news - I was driving it into an underground car park and couldn't see a big kerb as it dipped down - I have hit the kerb and broke the bumper - ****************** ****** *(((((!!!!!

Hi,

Im In Oadby, just up the A6 from you really.

The Companys called Dent-Technique Ask for Paul Phillips 07967 647138 Hes a top bloke and his work is 1st Class. Mention i recommended you he will remember another Paul from Oadby with a Freelander and Boxster.

I know a good paint shop too, and if your lucky they can put on some base coat, then top coat and flat it down to near perfect.

Cant help you with the bumper unless you want to speak to the paint shop about sorting a new bumper and respraying in which case they may do you the paint mark for free.

Thanks mate,

I work in Oadby - at the Invicta Tower!

The bumper is being done by Chips Away - wasn't as bad as expected but £95 + VAT still hurts for a minor error!!

I am taking the car to Sytners on Saturday for them to look at the dent but if they are ************'s I will give your chap a ring!

On the A6 next door to The accounting place? Isn't it just Invicta Plastics?

I Drive by daily. If your about today, you should pop round on the way home, im up on the grange past the Pub.

Whos the guys doing the chips away, is his name John no hair and a tash?

I will be interested what they say, im hoping to be using them so dents during a service isn't great.

I work at the accounting place!

No its the local Harborough chap - have used him on previous cars and he is good!

Have spoken to Sytners again today and they are messing me about a bit...
 
Your an accountant? Forget the offer of meeting up then lol.

Hope all goes well at the Stealers tomorrow.
