Ok, I've done a search and see that a few people have used Dent Devils before http://www.dentdevils.co.uk and there seems to be a few positive comments about them. I've picked up a door ding on the passenger side rear wing from a red car I was parked next to last week. Its about the size of a 1p piece (10mm in size) but the paint isn't broken. The red paint polished out leaving no mark, just a slight crease in the metal. With dark blue paintwork its very noticeable. I emailed Dent Devils a few photos and they have come back and said £75 + VAT, but they need to inspect it.The thing is, I know the dent is there and it will start to bug me over time. Whats the general opinion on this price?

£90 (inc. VAT) from my local BMW dealer for a similar issue (my wifes E92 325) - £2 more than you have been quoted. Took it in, 1 hour wait with good free coffee and chat to sales staff and good as new. I have no doubt they use a franchised firm as I had to make an appointment for the 'dent man'. Perhaps worth taking it in to you dealer when next passing.

I would "dealer" it first, as if there is any, any issue what so ever you can have a serious discussion.

The paintless dent repair guy I've used locally is very good and changes £75 inc per panel - so your price seems right.

I think Dent Devels is a franchise so one person might do a much better job than another - I'd stick with a local recommendation if available.

Ive used dent devils in the past and the guy was excellent, i asked about ten garages and they all recommended dave from dent devils. Turns out he does all the dealerships in the local area, so BMW will source a guy from dent devils etc. I wouldnt go to a dealer, 1 it costs more and if they do paintless dent reapir on site, they have no where near the experience of a dent devils guy. Whats better is if you know a few people who have dents and arrange all the cars to be together you can get a big discount.

My was qutoed at £90 for 2 dents but got a big chunk of that as i had 3 cars to do.

Cheers

Chris
