Used for playing MP3s on the standard head unit from a usb hard drive in the glove box or as an Aux in or Ipod interface.

This works perfectly with the standard business head unit, and is plug and play for the BMW Z4 (mine anyway 03 E85, please check yours before buying.) It shows your mp3 tags on the standard head unit and you control it through the cd buttons to scroll through your usb library. I had it fitted in the glove box along with a little usb hard drive and it worked a treat.

No wiring necessary, simply clips into the existing loom. Complete with DEBMW-4602-1 loom and AUX cable. I'll also burn off a CD with all the instructions and software to index the usb library on pc and the volume control files.

Yes. I have one and it displays text on the satnav screen if you choose the correct text option (there's about 4 options).
