Denison Gateway 100 - good ipod solution?

Hi all,

Looking to install iPod connectivity into my 2003 3.0L roadster (Business CD Stereo, CD changer, no satnav). I've heard that the Denison systems are simple and effective way of doing this, is this the case from your experience?

Also can anyone confirm that the Denison Gateway 100 is compatible with my stereo and that it includes text display and control on the head unit. Is the only difference between this and the Gateway 300 that the 300 has USB stick input as well as ipod? I don't need USB input so am tempted by the 100 which is half the price.

Thanks in advance.

Dension has a compatibility tool on their website. Dial in the details and it will give you the compatible models. My experience with Dension on my Mini was that it was fiddly to use. Combination key presses etc to get it to work. Hopefully it's improved since then. Their support was very good though, I had an issue with volume and they created a test f/w for me to try before putting it on general release.

If you want to add Bluetooth as well, Dice might be the way to go though.

Do you have a Multi Function Steering Wheel?

Thanks. No I don't have a multifunction steering wheel. I don't need BT or USB, just iPod connectivity, hence the 100. Just need toknow if it will work with my stereo and will show track info, controls etc via the OEM head unit.
