The indicators still flash orange no problem, a qiuk and cheap mod that that takes about an hour for booth side. tools for the job
1X roll of masking tape, 1X can of smoked lens spray. easy to remove if needed.
comments please  or

Looks much better. 1 year ago, I got rid from my orange indicator xenons.
I bought standard halogen front lights. I removed the halogen staff and retrofitted my xenons to the new front lights. writing is in german, but the pictures give some explanation what happened there :-)

I would say  for the time being, but you could then search for clear ones on ebay/breakers and once you have a set get your money back by selling the amber ones (I made a profit). :P

peddy - that is very lucky. I have xenons, so i had to chop up both sets, to get a set of clear xenon lights and add angel eyes!

Maxum - looks good  your lucky your car is black, as I don't think it would suit any other colour cars, but nice work and suits your car!

Agree with that, I just can't see it working on any other colour. This is the only time I wish I had a black Z4

Looks great on black though.

Looks cool. And a nice cheap mod to boot! If I change the Orange detail on my rims then ill be doing the same

I tried this, didn't look good on sterling gray either.

For anyone looking to do this temporarily, purchase the Z4 Tint Film kit available online and put it on. Use an x-acto knife and LIGHTLY cut out the part over the headlamps (it's easy to do, believe me), and pull that part off. Leaves the part on over the indicators.

The e90 3-series guys have WHITE overlays available for their turn signal indicators, wish we had that option on the Z4.
