I just went back to the website of the MMI unit I’ve got, I was looking for the manual to check some wiring options. Noticed they have a discount code active, and free shipping. This means the MMI unit is £118.90 delivered to the UK (or anywhere, I think).
I have two of these, one for NBT in my X3, and one for CIC in my Z4. Fitted them last summer, extremely pleased with them and the upgrade that Apple CarPlay brings.
The CIC unit’s only slight niggle is every five minutes or so the screen does a little flicker, just one, then carries on with life. I presume this is the MMI causing this, it’s not enough to have ever investigated.
I’m not affiliated with them at all, it’s a Chinese manufacturer and they ship direct. Their support over WhatsApp was immense last year, then even video called me to troubleshoot an install.
