Right I will confess to being a complete newb when it comes to this stuff....
I'm quite keen to start getting into amateur video editing etc. I'm starting to venture out more regularly with my Go Pro, but as is so often the case, the raw footage is crap, so I'm quite keen to start mucking about with an editor.
Having done a bit of looking, it seems there are varying different complexities of video editing sofware out there. I'd be keen if possible to get hold of something that's fairly basic to start with, which will allow me to get a feel for what I'm doing with the raw footage before I start going mad with it....
I'm running Fedora on my laptop, so suggestions do need to be compatible with this - does anyone have any suggestions?
