I'm toying with the idea of getting my rear cat taken out for a bit more burbly sound without spending a grand on an exhaust system that doesn't have the dreaded 2.5k drone. An OG on the forums, MrWhippy, said that it was the best thing he had done for the sound improvement at the pretty price of £200. How will this affect the rear o2 sensors though? I get a CEL occasionally as the car is currently because the rear o2 sensors are on their way out and need replacing - but without the rear cat at all will I just end up with that CEL on 24/7?
I did some searching on here about rear decats but couldn't find much about the o2 sensors.
