well well, its nice to see so many people come together and express an infinite pool of opinion i have here.. i stand truly obliged by everyone here
so yes for starters, this early on in my career i do understand a ride is not a good place to invest.. things like these you buy with the heart and not the head.. but i am laying cash aside for grad school and after 2-3 years (the amount of work experience they usually require while opting to admit) ill have enough to pay my way through that.. and maybe then, i can think abt the cars everyboy has posters on his walls, the 911gt3, aston matrin dbr or the ferrari 599.. ground reality is, im nowhere near that for now
right, so getting back to chosing one.. i think ive narrowed down my choices to 3.. and these are according to personal preferance
04' bmw z4 3.0
03' bmw m3
04' mercedes slk 200 (my apologies for mentioning the 03 earlier, the new shape is within my budget)
i guess im more torn between the z4 and m3.. m3 is sheer driving pleasure, no doubt abt that and yes it does have 4 seats, but the z4 is not bad either.. and when it comes to looks its either the love or hate extreme with that car and me not being married or having kids i can live with a roadster, the hard thing abt roadsters is that they cant be judged on paper alone for performace.. its abt the drive and sensation you get out of it while driving and owning one.. suddenly making stops outside conveniant stores and places of interest all makes sense.. anyone who'se owned both the m3 and z4 share his opnion?
as for the slk-200 lets think outside the box for it being a beauty saloon headed milf's car, cuz in my country i.e saudi arabia women folk dont drive.. hard to imagine for most guys, agreed (lets leave that for the poltical forum for now) .. but lets judge the car on how it performs, looks and feels to drive and own
and once again, thank you all for your opinions
