De-badge or not De-badge...that is the question

Well,

Picked my Z4 up this morning and I am very happy with it - stunning looking car and I even got some nice comments from people on the garage forecourt when I filled her up :D

Beautifully finished inside and the 20i appears to have plenty of urge imho.

Looking forward to many enjoyable miles ahead.

I shall endeavour to upload some pics as soon as I get the chance.

Cheers
Enjoy the compliments I'm sure there will be more. :D

Looking forward to some Pics.

As promised, I have some pics to share :D

You will have to forgive me as they were just some quick snaps taken when I collected the car but it gives you an idea and I am sure you all know what a Z4 looks like!!

(Fingers crossed I have linked this in correctly!!).

Well I popped out to the garage on Sunday with hair drier and dental floss and the SDrive 20i have been removed :D
I am also contemplating removing the Z4 on the rear end as well as looking at the pics does give it a cleaner appearance.
If you're on the fence about removing it just take a few photos from different angles and photoshop the badge out. Compare with/without side by side and make your choice.
Thanks - I agree, but one of the many benefits of this forum is that we have a few photo's of de-badged alpine white beauties 8) so makes it a lot easier to compare :-)

Time to get the hair drier and dental floss ready 8)

When I was in Germany I noticed that practically all of their Bimmers were de-badged. :?

I have to say that I was somewhat frustrated by this since I saw some real nice models go by but had no way to know what they actually were...especially since some are not sold in the U.S.

I had no doubt to that to de-badge was a must.

The s-drive badge is just ok, however, the 'Z4' badge placement on the rear obviously had the designers in a pickle... and it subsequently turned out messy!. :o

It's just an opinion...

I just debadged the side badges on my Z4 (2.5i). I personally think it's a bit ugly to have badges there, and I don't remember that being a thing until they started manufacturing BMWs in the USA.

Looks much better and it was a very easy process as well. I don't think I'll do off with the Z4 badges in the back, but I might!

For anybody interested, I have a decent DIY of the method I used ... in Icelandic. Could translate it though, if anybody is interested.
