Yup agreed but I've had 'issues' with them in the past with bike racks on normal cars, so I'd imagine a Zed would be even worse.
Was a long time ago; I went through a radar trap on my bike around the same time and they wanted to do me for speeding which was hilarious.

As posted above, they can't. However, most serious cyclists nowadays have handlebar cycle computers which give you all manner of information. Some even have 'Garmin' computers costing hundreds of pounds.

Pass, I guess they didn't like me overtaking cars on the dual carriageway where they had the speed trap; sent a bike after me who pulled me over about a mile down the road. He just asked me for name, etc, and if I had a driving licence.
I told him I didn't even though I did and he told me he was a hairs breadth from hauling me off to court.
I could only grin at him where he told me to behave myself and he roared off.

The lights and plate are still mostly visible with the two bikes on but I reckon to be 100% legal you'd benefit from a trailer board. Still, I doubt the cops would be too bothered, I've done this countless times over the last two years and had no problems, here in Northern Ireland or on the mainland.
The rack is very secure and fits with no problems or damage to the Zed its a Baja 3 rack. You do get some wobbles though with the hard suspension on county roads..........sure, what use is a great car like the Z4 if you can't fully use it.....?.....cue even more debate....

Wondered about bike rack for the z, had a halfords high mount jobbie on the Insignia, be great in the lakes or wales camping, open top car on the country roads and the bikes for even more fun,,,,,, mmmmm maybe next summer will be a good one lol
