Well Guys

I was searching the internet for ideas and I thought to myself why not ask on here most have partners so could share your wealth of experience.

Got her present sorted out so that’s done

But am thinking about the day itself? Was thinking maybe a drive over to Lechlade-on-thames for a spot of lunch ... but that’s all I got  on the ideas front ...ooo yeah and make her breakfast in the morning, I could possibly stretch beyond her normal cup of tea and cheerio’s :D

I'm in need of some inspiration of the ideas front, her B-day is on Sunday so knocked out the idea of surprise overnight stay as both working Monday.

Anything else chaps? man in distress!!

Background

- She's going to be 27 ,we live near the M4 as per venues etc....ummmmm anything else that may help?

Cheers

Why not take her to the Bicester Outlet for some retail therapy with her birthday funds, then a country pub lunch/tea, brownie points galore plus you will get a give the Z a good airing!!

Banana pancakes & crispy bacon for breaky if she's not watching her weight or just prepared to indulge for one day.
Used to quite enjoy walks along the Thames at either Henley or Marlow, with a cream tea in one of the many little cafes. Back when I lived in that neck of the woods (though it has to said we were usually recovering from hangovers after playing Rugby and all that follows on the Saturday).
I would avoid retail therapy unless you enjoy it aswell, as it would become painfully obvious after 2 minutes that you would rather be anywhere else and then the fight started.

Why not push the boat out and see if you can tickets for a show and try a out nice restaurant somewhere where she can glammed up if that's her thing.

But just spoil her rotten all day and make her feel special.

Then on Monday while she's still glowing mention all the bits you've just bought for the Zed.

My other half likes to be taken shopping.... this can't fail :)

As Richard has mentioned, this will help soften the blow when she finds out about all the bits you will be buying for your zed

Suprize is the best way of attack, they love it arrange a drink in the pub but dont forget to invite her best freinds unknown.cake drinks she will love you for it.

A nice breakfast sounds like a good idea. Is she vegetarian? Get some veggie sausages. I like the crispy bacon and maple syrup myself as a treat but I'm not veggie.

RichardG's idea of a nice walk along the river in Marlow / Henley is a good one - beautiful places. Richard, didn't know you used to live around here?

A show is a good idea! What does she like? Depends on budget too I know, and dinner with in a nice restaurant will go down well. Basically, I think Richard has things to a T. Jeanette gets spoilt!

Depends how long you guys been together, buy her something you know she wants, could be something small, but will show you're thoughtful.

Basically, any/combo of these things. If you have any Qs, fire away!

Thanks everyone for the tips, was thinking nice walk , pub lunch afternoon tea/cakes that sort of thing :)

 already married , been together 10 years now :) she’s awesome so love to spoil her a bit even if we are married

Thankfully she like shopping but at her own pace ... which will save on the Zed fund :P

Edit - WOOO mega "Bing Style Smilies use" , need to cut back!

Ahh, in that case tell her that she doesnt need to wash any dishes today, she can do them all tomorrow, and as an extra bonus treat that you will get your own beer from the fridge today. :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed:
