Dashcam wired in

https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=73905 (although I'd suggest not using scotch locks personally.)

I ran mine (Garmin hardwired kit) down to the fuse box behind the glove box, took ignition from F2 and permanent live feed from F3 and used a ground nut nearby to ground it. Top connector in a fuse slot is the "hot" side.

Hi

Has anyone wired their dashcam to the centre rear view mirror? If so any wiring diagrams please? Thanks.
Yeah much better to just run down the A pillar rather than butcher the mirror loom.

Yeah I ran mine down the a pillar to the fuse board too, plenty of gap to hide the cable also, and can tap into a permanent live to keep the dashcam on when parked

How would you get the rear camera into the rear boot easily?

From the fuse box? Lift the passenger side sill trim and run it back under there, can probably sneak it up the side if you pull the door rubber off and over into where the roof motor is installed from factory then you're in the left hand side of the boot and can run it wherever.
