Dash Panel removal question

Hello All,

I'm trying to replace the main dashboard panel (the part with heater controls). To remove this part I need to also remove the surround of the key hole. However, there appears to be a screw holding this in place which I cannot access.
Is this correct? I have a 2012 28 Sdrive

Thanks

Yes there is a screw…I think the instrument cluster trim hides it?

Can’t remember when I took my dash out now..

Didn't have to remove the key slot on both of our Z4s when removing the dash panel.
I think LHD models may be different though.

I misread / misunderstood the issue.

Thanks for the replies, not sure how I'm going to remove the screw :(

If its a RHD car you don't need to remove the keyslot to remove the dash panel.
Off the top of my head there is a few screws visible when you open the glove box and once the stereo is removed, a couple there too. After that it's just clips along the top.
