I wish we had the touchless car washes here in the UK like they do in Germany and the US... not that i'd put the Zed through one of those probably either, but it'd be a better option than the swirl-generators we have!

I should add that BMW have OK'd the Z4 roadster as safe to go through an automatic carwash, but seriously, why would you? They just knacker the paintwork - swirl-tastic.

I've done a touchless on occasion, not advisable due to the harshness of the soap etc.
