Dandelion Problem!

This may sounds a little futile - but I park the Z daily in a car park that is in the middle of the countryside near a smallish train station (i.e. it great, no-one parks close to each others cars and there are lots of expensive cars (e.g. Astons, Porsches's etc) to take attention away from mine!).

However, this is my first year with a droptop and I seem to be having a particular problem with Dandelion seeds - 3 or 4 times a week I get back to the car and the roof is literally white with the little gits of seeds! Takes me 10 - 15 minutes with sellotape to get them off each night!

I'm going to have to resort to putting my roof cover on each day - however, this is going to a. take time I never leave for myself inthe morning and b. look very over the top to everyone else in the car park (yes I shouldn't care, but I do!).

Anyone else having the same problem?

We have a similar problem with a commercial laundry closeby - bits of fluff from their extractor fans get all over the cars.

I bought a little 12v car vacuum with a brush attachment (from M&S actually) to vacuum the roof - neighbours thought I was mad but my roof was like new... theirs weren't!

You can also get covert that just go over the roof and windscreen. Might be a good solution for a few weeks. I get similar trouble in a month or so's time with sap dropping out of trees (greenfly crap really) when I visit client sites

Use both suggestions together, I used to hoover the roof then use a sticky roller to get the last few bits off. You get them in Sainsburys or other supermarkets or Amazon.
