Damp passenger footwell (RHD)

Just noticed that the floor mat and carpet is quite damp.Car has been stood for the last 3 weeks without use. I am assuming windows were fully up etc when I left it, so I guess a door seal is a prime candidate for the fault. Anyone else had similar issue and what was the resolution? TIA.
 
Your windows could need resetting, sometimes they think they are shut but actually leave a gap. Search for the reset proceedure on here, can't remember where it is
 
I has this early in my cars life and a leaking heater matrix was causing it. Could be the door membrane as well though.
