recorded as a category C

whatever money you put into it, you'd lose all of it. be good for a track day car though

Looking at a good £5k to fix up, and then only worth 70-75% of a non-cat one.

buy it for 3k, get yourself the M seats, M steering wheel and maybe some other parts, and sell what's left like the engine, gearbox, rims ( unless your afther those aswel ), come out with nice upgrades, and if your verry lucky a little profit.

downsides - eyesore on your drive, ever growing oil patch and weeks if not years of waiting and haggling with potential part buyers

Not for me

yeah but if you have teh space why not ? it's a cheap way of getting those seats and steeringwheel. if you live in the countryside and have enough space for it go for it :P

Ye just too much money even if stripped. It the time it takes to take apart store and then sell. Only thing I can think of is that it might be a good starter car for a track day but would probably look at an M rather than 3.0.
