My car is a garage queen, only gets used on good days in the summer - terrible I accept.
Road tax expires at end of October and I then SORN it as I refuse to pay such a large levy to the govt. Yesterday was one of those good days and unusually warm so we decided to take the car for a nice roof down run and get some decent E5 fuel to prevent corrosion. But couldnt seem to get the roof to come down. Carried out all the usual checks including the position of the parcel shelf and checked roof motor was topped up with hydraulic fluid.
After a good half hour I realised that operating the heated seat button, next to the roof button wouldnt be any use so after pushing the right button all was well. A good filling with E5 and a spirited drive (without the lambda light coming on) and she is now tucked up for winter although I will be carrying out a few jobs while she slumbers.
