Just bought a new dab radio and was wondering how difficult it is to get the dab Ariel up the back of the dash to the windscreen. Have tried the search function with no joy. Any advice would be appreciated.
 
You are intending to put it on the glass? If so you can push cable down from the top to run it round the dash then down at the side under the door shut rubber if that is of any help? I did this on my HUD and it hides the cable nicely.
 
Drop the glovebox down and remove it, remove the side airvent and remove the A-pillar trim. Attach DAB antenna to windscreen and route the lead down A-pillar, over top of fusebox (make sure it is not in front of this, as you may need to remove it in the future to get to the relays on the back), and then through to the head unit.
All the component parts of this (like removal of sunvisor/headrail trim to get A-pillar trim off) can be found on the forum or youtube.
All you need is a screwdriver, some time and a dry place to do it :thumbsup:
 
First post: just bought mine today! Is there any way of adding a DAB add-on in some way to the OEM head unit?
