I have recently bought a 2006 E85 Z4M which has:
S609, Navigation System Professional
S692, Preparation, BMW 6-CD Changer I-Bus
Basic 6 speaker sound system.
I want to retain the OEM screen & sat-nav.
I know there are other ways to add DAB, but I what I would really like is DAB that integrates fully with the pop-up screen as the head unit has no screen at all. I don't want extra extra items in the cockpit.
Is there a VISTEON DAB module that can be connected to what I have, without too much grief, and show the DAB station on the pop-up screen?
Also, can an aftermarket amp be connected to the head unit that I have if I want to add the extra 2 or 4 missing speakers?
And does the S692 option that is fitted mean I have the wiring already in the car to connect a BlueTooth interface to?
