DAB radio lack of station info?

Hi guys, I've had my Z4 for for 9 months now and absolutely love it, but slowly yet surely I'm getting annoyed with one minor feature. I've got the DAB radio option, partly for the extra stations and quality but also because I like the track info displayed. However, when I'm using the radio and I have the split screen display showing entertainment details, I'm getting no info at all! It's a small thing, and I tend to leave 'Perspective' sat nav up instead to help forget it, but I'm not impressed paying over £300 for something lacking the features of a £30 portable DAB radio. Anybody else suffer (or at least notice) this same issue?
I don't know if it's just a software thing, but I don't want to pay extra to get it sorted with an update without any guarantee (especially when the fix is because BMW didn't get it right in the first place). Any advice from someone who had the same thing would be great!

I've never tried mine in split screen but there's a station info option on the right hand panel that if you click gives all the station info. I'll check the split screen thing tomorrow...

I've just tested this, while showing the perspective nav screen I enabled split screen (Capitol, a DAB station was already playing) and chose 'entertainment info' it shows the dab station name and the current show which changes every few seconds to show the track playing, all this on the split half, main section showing nav.

This also displays the artist track etc when playing mp3s from the built in hard disk or attached iPod.

I'm not a fan of the split display but it does seem to work.

Interesting- mine shows the station name, but next to the 'i' for info, it's empty, and doesn't show programme or track details. At least I know it's an issue with my car rather than how it's supposed to be.
