Custom routes in sat nav

When driving for fun I like to go places I haven't been - but with a specific route in mind. Choices normally are pretty much map and try to remember all of the junctions, or rely on the sat nav and end up down some muddy narrow lane.

Works with most sat navs and lets you set a specific route so you can concentrate on the driving, and not the navigation.

Have been using the core program 'Tyre' for a good few years on various sat-navs, to set up custom itineraries for myself/friends when we go on tour.

This seems like a good idea...shame it seems you need Internet explorer though. I'm on a mac with safari. Pity.

I've originally used Tyre via Crossover on the Mac, but now just use it via my W7 install in VMWare Fusion or Bootcamp.

Don't remember having to use a browser though!
