Custom Quad Conversion For Sale

OK, so I will be having some alterations done to my exhaust, ill not bore you with the details as yet but basically it will mean that the existing conversion is up for grabs.

It will be the section from the mid silencers back to and including the rear quad exit pipes.

The system cost £350 for me to have it done about 4 months ago and has done around 5k miles. It is nicely run in and is sounding better than ever with pops and bangs a plenty.

Im looking for offers in the region of £150 for the system

The system will be taken off the car when I have the alterations done next weekend and will be stored at the exhaust specialists premises in Doncaster. The owner has confirmed that he will fit the system to whoevers car for £80.00. This includes cutting the existing rear bumper also. If you wanted to cut the rear bumper yoursleves then fitting would be £50.00.

I cannot recommend this conversion enough. THe transformation to the look and sound of the vehicle is fantastic.

Yes it will fit the 2.5. Infact the company did one for a 2.5 customer the other week and was exactly the same set up.

Ive had a read through your thread about having it installed but cant get any audio on the videos. When you say its loud do you mean chav pipe loud or similar to oem?

After following Jdm at a forum meet I can confirm it's not oem loud (but not in a bad way )

It's louder than oem but I wouldn't say chavvy loud. But I wouldn't advise anyone to buy this if they weren't expecting an increase in noise.. But to me that's what is lacking from the oem setup..

BTW - followed JDM for a while in the Lakes and it sounds glorious, but you've got to want an exhaust note that's audible

Hi Phil,

Well im just having a few tweeks made to the system. Since fitting the CF diffuser the exhaust tips havn't been exactly how I want them, theyre sitting a little bit too high. Not a big thing but it bugs me. The only way to sort it properly is to redo the back section as you know its a custom so all pipework is bent to suit. So I thought whilst having it re-done I would make a few other tweaks that will hopefully just enhance it a little more.

If it wasnt for it not looking quite right after installing the CF diffuser I wouldnt be changing it as I love it and it fits perfect with the standard bumper.

Right there has been quite a bit of interest in this system so what I propose is that people send me a private message if they are genuinely interested.

As I have said I am looking for offers in the region of £150.

I am going to hold a decreasing price auction for the system as this needs to be sold by middle of next week. So the prices will be as follows:

£170 if the system is sold before 11pm this evening (18th September)
£165 if the system is sold before 11pm Monday evening (19th September)
£160 if the system is sold before 11pm Tuesday Evening (20th September)
£155 if the system is sold before 11pm Wednesday Evening (21st September)
£150 if the system is sold before 11pm Thursday Evening (22nd September)

Remember this is a custom made section in stainless steel (photographs shown on the hyperlink in my first post on this thread)

I will take it for £170... Thats on the proviso that I can get it fitted at the Doncaster garage you mentioned, this coming Wednesday (the 21st). Are you getting yours changed out this coming week, 19th onwards, or the week after, the 26th onwards? I ask as Im off to Sheffield mid week and might work out perfectly. Let me know. Thanks
