Cup holders

My 3.0i Roadster came with cupholders but my 'new' ///M Coupe doesn't have them, just solid pieces of plastic. I'm wondering why not? :?
 
They were an optional extra (think it was called the 'storage pack' and included footwell nets and something else that I can't remember!). I had them retro-fitted to my old Roadster but I didn't bother on the M Coupe because I thought they were rubbish.
 
I retrofitted them to my last car, but this car doesn't have them either - one of the only things I need to do, so can't complain. I liked them, but Wee Bing used his more which I approved of on long road trips.
 
I've just ordered a couple to retrofit on mine. Looks a dead easy fit.

My local dealer (Chelmsford) could only track down ONE in the country. It was passenger side and BMW Battersea had it. Got a driver's side on order.
 
They're usually available from the BMW eBay shop, along with faceplates - if stocks are running low I think I need to splurge soon ....

You did order faceplates too, right ? They're a separate part, £10 each.
