#80 for cup holders and plates from Amazon, blooming expensive

got a replacement one from ebay for £28 yesterday..

I may even have a spare drivers side one (no plate though) in a few days, as now I've bought one, I've figured out what's wrong with my original one :headbang:

I might want taht as my one pops open every now and then. And sometimes wont close.

had it apart and fixed the initial proble, but theres a crack in the "finger" too. I suspect a good bit of epoxy and a tiny amount of fibreglass will have it repaired.

However, now I've had one apart - I can guess at the problem you're having!

If you take it apart (just prise the bottom off, then swear and search for fucking ages for the coiled brass spring that will inevitably fly across the room into some god-forgotten corner under your desk, as mine did), you will see there's a floating "catch" at the back end of the unit.
I would suspect yours is either loose, or more likely come off of its guide (as mine had too).
If it has come off, should be a case of gently repositioning it back on to the guide, reassembling, remembering you didn't put the spring in, unassembling, spending ten minutes working out where the spring came from, re-assembling, catching finger tip in the plastic as it snaps closed, swearing a bit more, then refitting to the car.

i have a pair of cup holders i might be tempted to sell with face lift vents.
i have no idea what they will be worth, can i have some price guidance please.
dont want to over charge if i decide to sell them.
daz
