Cup holder retrofit?

Maybe I'm not working mine correctly but I can't even fit medium size drink into the cup holder. Seems like there's a little tab at the bottom that blocks the drink from going to far down. : /

I despise the cupholders. Mine broke for the 2nd time yesterday (first time the chintzy plastic arm snapped off, this time the spring isn't catching) and I now I can't even push it closed. I'm getting it "fixed" one more time by the dealer and never opening it again. :thumbsdown:

Hmm sorry to hear that. If you don't want it, why don't you get rid of it and have a blank instead?

They are not wonderful, but beats holding your drink between your knees!

Not wonderful, but they'll do in a pinch. I would do any "performance/spirited" driving while I had a cup in the holder though. Mine doesn't latch well at all.

They work well enough for me. Definitely better than resting a drink between your legs, but as others said, you don't want to be doing any performance driving while you're drink is in the holder . You can adjust the holder to hold different size cups. Only £20 each, its worth it imo.

The cupholders net to the air vent are too shallow. Try one of these from Ultimate Cupholders at http://www.ultimatecupholders.com/index.html. I have one and it works great.

If you want to hold a drink then they are worth it, especially for the money, TBH I never had any problems with mine. As long as you remember to close them before you get in/out of the car then they're fine. They aren't big enough for some of the oversized cups in the US, but you can resolve that by getting a small.
