CSLs

Another CSL topic but need an answer on this from the experts. Been offered a set in "as new" condition and the real deal.

Selling with part worn Goodyear Asymmetrics, fronts have 7.5mm of tread being 235/35/19, rears having 6.2mm of tread being 265/30/19.

I need to know if the tyre size is ok and how does it effect the speedo on the car i.e. how much is it out?

What would the going price for these be as well?

Front is 2% smaller than stock, rear is 3% smaller than stock.

Will only affect your speedo by 2-3mph at 100mph - so when you're speedo says 100mph (which is actually about 96mph), you'll only be doing 94mph!

Tyre sizes on these wheels are the standard M3 CSL sizes and will work well on the car. The difference on the speedo will be inconsequential. Get them bought!

I paid £1650 for mine - used, good condition wheels with a brand new set of F1's on.

That was about 2 years ago though

If they really are as new then anything between £1700 and £1900 would be about right in my book. With brand new wheels and Goodyear tyres you'd be paying about £2300.

Which just goes to show, that tyres aside, the wheels tend to not really lose much value, so despite costing a great deal more than replica wheels, they retain that value... a replica set at £850 may sound a bargain, but they are worth about half that the very next day (as a recent eBay sale for a set of as new ones showed!)

So yes, buy them :D
