Cruise Retrofit.....yes or no?

As post says, can it be done?

Must say it really pisses me off that a car of this price doesn't have cruise and parking sensors as standard.
Both have been standard fit on 3 series for years. BMW are taking stuff off and charging for it. Bloody cheek :x
It's making my search for a used model very hard.
 
Personally I have had cruise control on several cars over the years and don't care for it at all. Parking sensors, yes, very useful, especially on a z4 with the long front.
 
Surely it depends on the type of driving you do? In my x5 the cruise is very usefull as it does lots of long motorway miles. If you don't do this sort of driving I'd say not worth it.

I used to have a Maserati and cruise, parking sensors, leather, electric seats etc were all extras. The engine was, which was the important thing :D
